KonMari™ tidying festival

The KonMari Method® is simple. It consists of four steps to sustainably bring a beautiful, personalized order to your home. The steps are: categorize, sort, store and maintain. The KonMari™ tidying festival involves tidying up all your possessions.

CATEGORIZE

The categories for tidying up your belongings are: clothes, books, papers, komono, and sentimental items.

SORT

Sorting is done using the joy check: if the item sparks joy, you keep it with gratitude; if not, you let it go with gratitude.

STORE

The items that remain are then stored. It's important to give everything a designated place, a "home," so to speak, where it will always be returned to.

MAINTAIN

Now you have tidied all your belongings, your whole home and it's time to maintain the order! This can be easily achieved with the 20-minute rule: each day, set aside 20 minutes at the same time to return everything to its place.

In October 2024, the KonMari Consultant® certification seminar took place in London.

Along with qualified, wonderful consultants who have been working with this method for a long time and shared their knowledge with us, Marie Kondo herself was present. She shared her journey, answered questions, and signed books. It was amazing to meet her, as she is a very inspiring person.
