ABOUT ME

I was born in 1970 in the beautiful city of Aachen and grew up in a commune. Several families lived on two floors of a converted factory building, sharing the kitchen, bathroom, and terrace. Our children's room was a huge open space, where we could leave our Playmobil landscapes set up for days.

During the holidays, we traveled through Europe in a converted van with limited storage space for all our belongings. This gave me a special sense of space, as well as an appreciation for essential and cherished items.

During highschool and after graduating, I spent several years abroad. There, I learned about the diverse living situations of people, as well as different cultural attitudes towards possessions, living, and consumption. This experience has helped me greatly as a decluttering and organization coach, allowing me to appreciate my clients’ unique life realities and collaborate with them to create a personalized organizational system that works for them.

My long stays abroad, traveling with just a 7-kg backpack containing all my belongings, taught me humility and gratitude, and showed me that not everyone needs many material possessions to be happy.

After completing my studies in cultural anthropology in Berlin, I worked in various branches as a promoter and consultant.

I meet people on eye level and value their individual circumstances. Together, we can identify the blockages or problems that stand in the way of your happiness and find solutions.

My daily routine of yoga and running provides me with structure, clarity, energy, and well-being. This can be transferred to the home – the more tidy the structure, the clearer, more energetic, and healthier one feels.

There was a time in the past when I struggled to let go of things and a lot of belongings accumulated over time. When I had children, our possessions grew even more.

Beautiful, useful, and valuable items were mixed with unused, broken, or unloved things, and chaos spread throughout the house. It was hard to maintain order sustainably and truly enjoy our home.

The new phase of life, when my children grew older, needed fewer things, and some even moved out, gave me more time and space. This was the ideal moment for me to gradually declutter everything.

A wonderful feeling of relief and freedom followed – it was amazing. And it has stayed that way because unnecessary items no longer find their way to us

The method that helped me best in creating the atmosphere at home that I wanted for my family and for myself was the KonMari Methode® developed by Marie Kondo.

To share this method and its positive effects with others more effectively, I began my training as a KonMari Consultant® in October 2024.

It always makes me happy to support and help people, and I love bringing sustainable structure to chaos. When someone gets organized and feels good afterward, it truly makes me happy.

As Buddha says, happiness lies within us, not in things. A tidy, clear home helps to live a happy, light, and energetic life – and I am more than happy to help you with that.
